Biography
Sue Yeon Woo is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and her main practice areas are financial, securities, and insurance disputes and relevant advisory services.
Based on extensive judicial experience accumulated while serving as a judge at the Daegu District Court and the Suwon District Court, Ms. Yoo handles corporate litigations (including civil and criminal) and offers legal advisory services tailored to client needs with respect to financial and capital market matters. She primarily specializes in disputes involving financial investment products (i.e., PEFs, DLS/DLF, and derivatives), insurance claim and guarantee insurance-related cases, lawsuits pertaining to asset management and investment assets, financial white-collar crimes (i.e., response to mis-selling investigations), liability disputes in electronic financial transactions involving payment gateway companies, and damage claims arising from personal information leakage.
